hi! i just got my fisheye2 but whenever i look into the view finder.. there's always that round metal thing infront of my camera popping out in my view finder. why is that so? hope u would reply soon!

The view finder and the fisheye lens is not link.
As you can see there is a parallex error.

ignore that metal ring. the view finder is actually wider than the camera lens.

hi hi !! sorry, need some help! just got a disderi camera and the manual is in korean. hehehe. need some help loading the film and how to use it .. thank you so much for your time !!

push down the right crank, put in the film, pull the film strip tongue, turn the advance wheel until you see there is a small 'cache' or probably a slot (for some cameras).

fit the film sprocket on the cache or slot the film into the slot, turn the advance knob until it stop. press the shutter, turn again until the film actually turns 1 round at the film spool.

close the cover, turn the advance wheel completely.

once done, u are ready to shoot.

difference between holga 135 and holga 120

hi! just wondering, what's the difference between a holga 135 and holga 120 in terms of their limits and merits? :) which would you recommend?

Re: difference between holga 135 and holga 120

The difference is 120 Holga can use 120mm and 35mm films (with the 35mm adapter) and Holga 135 can only use 35mm films. Holga 120 can take sprocket hole effects on 35mm film with the panoramic adapter. And of cuz it will have much natural vignettes and the square photos with 120mm films! :D

Whereas Holga 135 can only take normal photos. u cant get sprocket hole effects with it.

But when using 35mm films Holga 135, its more convenient in changing and winding of the film as its specially cater for 35mm films.

If you want to get the 135 Holga, u have to get the multicolor flash as it does not have any inbuild flash.. :)

Usually i will recommend the 120 Holga as it has more functions (as mention.. the pano effect, square photos, sprocket effects, able to use 2 diff type of films..)

hey girl, wanna ask u some qns abt the Slide film. Cos i own a vivitar and i havnt been using it for quite some time.. and now the film expires already.. so if i finish it up and develop it, what will happen ah??

and i also have a new slide flim which i havnt used too. both flims actually has expired in OCT, which is just last mth.

hopefully u can ans my qn! thanks babe.

There won't be any problem as long the film doesn't expires more than 2 years.

Hi! I'd like to know which one is better: the Holga K-200N/FEL or the Holga 135? :) Can the K-200N achieve the black corners effect too?

Thanks babe :)

Hi I would recommend Holga 135.

Differnence between both of them

135BC Holga
There's a focusing ring for it for exact focusing.
Normal & Bulb mode (2 shutter speeds)
Tripod Screw to mount on a tripod stand.
Able to do multiple exposure effects.
Able to mount on Fisheye lens to create fisheye effects.
Flexible for more custom modifications (you can google more about that)
Only able to use 35mm films to take more shots in a roll - i.e 36 shots
Has a internal attachment to create darker vignettes
Need an external flash to take indoors or at night.
Has more vignettes

K-200N
Simple and basic 35mm camera which don't allow precise focusing.
No tripod screw to mount to tripod
1 shutter speed
Unable to take Multiple exposure effects, panorama effects or sprocket hole effects
Only able to take normal pictures or fisheye pictures (with the fisheye attachement)
Only sight vignettes.

Hope this help in your decision!!

Hi

Was just wondering iyf you'll be opening a lomography.com spree or you know anyone that is spreeing :)

Thanks!

hi there.
i bought the Lucky Black & White 35mm Film recently.

how to go about processing it?
do i use normal processing or..?
because the lady said in order to process black and white films, she'll need to charge me special rate.

please advise.

thanks!! :D

its traditional b&w processing.. not normal process.

Hey just to check with you, the vivitar camera is not those buy once and throw kind right? It can be used over and over again right? Um, for developing of those films, I can develop them anywhere other than the place you stated?

:)

hi khloe

the holga i got from you is great. but i have a slight problem. the metal pieces at the side, which are supposed to keep the back cover in place, keep sliding off. causing slight exposure of the films.

any method to help?

You can try getting black tapes to tape them up.
It's a common issue with every holga.

hey, what's the diff between the different films? especially what does slide films do?

hello ! i bought the jelly camera from you and will liek to ask how to function the flash ! because sometimes i press the button, the flash doesn't come out. so does the camera function with flash or its okay without flash? (:

u have to hold onto the flash button. there will be a screeching sound when u press after that its silent. dont let go the button. just hold onto it until the light blinks.

if the blinking light dont appear, try pressing the shutter. it will flash out.

hi, will you recommand a colorsplash flash or ring flash? :)

Colorsplash flash is better and its cheaper too

Hi, how do you use the camera?
1. What's the circular thing on the top left corner for?
2. Do I need to turn the black knob after each photo?
Thank you so much!

hi, wondering if you'll bring in those jelly lens too..

nope i wont be bringing in those

hi :)
i've got a holga 120 GCFN. may i know how do i take pics w/o the flash?

do i switch it off? can it function w/o switching it on?

so sorry, am quite a newbie at this. hahaha

do reply, thanks :)

There is a switch to on/off the flash. you can read it by the manual given with it.
